The TALARIA STING R MX4 electric dirt bike was born to bring cutting edge performance to all riders. It features a CAD designed light weight frame design, a powerful electric motor delivering instant torque, transferred through an intelligent gear drive whilst operating extremely quietly. Its compact well-balanced structure is very easy to maneuver, and requires minimal maintenance. All these features make STING an ideal off-road bike for more people than ever to enjoy the passion and thrill of off-road riding adventures.
BATTERY
STING is powered by an impressive 60V 45Ah lithium-ion power pack, which is 2700 watt-hours, and easily swappable. The power packs can be exchanged with another fully charged power pack in seconds for limitless range. With electric automobile grade LG 21700 lithium-ion battery cells, state of the art programmed BMS, and optimized internal structure, this battery pack is enabled to ensure the bike brings you safe, hi performance off-road riding.
SPEEDOMETER
The dash features a high-contrast OLED display, this will offer riders a clear data display with low power consumption. With CAN communication, the dash is available to have data transfer with the battery pack’s BMS and the motor controller. The display menu provides a range of information, which include top/average speed, range, battery data, riding mode, error codes, regen level and more. The dash is also adjustable to allow different settings for different wheel size, sprocket size, motor regen levels, and change between KM/H and MPH to enhance the compatibility of the bike.

With the high-quality appropriative hardware, superb layout, and ingenious programming, the controller is enabled to have an extraordinary ability for transient current impact resistance, ultra strong anti – interference, high-precision EABS voltage and discharge current control, error inspection, high and low temperature protection, anti-runaway, and smart energy regeneration. After much research, I ordered and received this bike.
Assembly was very straight forward. (Highly suggest you take out the battery while you assemble it, so you can have a fully charged battery once completed ;).) and then its all YEEHAWS.
Just cut the limiter wire ASAP. Night and DAY difference in power.
PLENTY of torque (post limiter wire cut) and the throttle is very sensitive, smooth, responsive and can throttle up a wheelie at +20MPH with buttery ease…..
Brakes are SUPERB! I can glide to a full stop in the 12 o’clock wheelie position knowing all well, the brakes are powerful enough to handle that load/stress.
**Snob Rider Alert Comment** The stock tires are subpar. This would be the first upgrade anyone should consider if you plan on riding this offroad, BUT the stock tires offer enough to get out immediately. Just giving a heads up to those who wanted to add on more aggressive tires right out of the gate.
Now, would I recommend this bike to someone that wants an E-Bike that is in the market? 100%. No hesitation. I accidently added another one to my cart without even thinking. A.W.E.S.O.M.E…….BIKE. Thank you Talaria Shop! Great Customer Service!

Sell your Surron and get this thing instead. It absolutely blows it out of the water in every way, from the upgraded 8KW IPM motor to the far superior front suspension and brakes, it is a joy to ride. The weight difference is really not that noticeable and actually makes the bike feel more stable while still remaining nimble and quick. Another thing I see people complaining/worrying about is the Gearbox and doing oil changes. Not only is it really easy/quick to do but also it only needs to be done every 3000-5000 miles! Don’t think twice, just buy it. Best investment I’ve made in a long time.

Wow, what an upgrade. Rode this and a new stock Sur Run side by side and this blows the SR away in all measurable metrics. The power, braking, quietness, and overall feel are just “better” all around. A no-brainer to get this instead of a SurRon. It’s like they looked at a SR and said “how can we improve on the issues commonly complained about” and made them all reality. Glad Talaria Shop is stocking these!!!!

My first ebike and I’m in love already. The Sting R is fast, has good range, good suspension, good brakes, and it charges up fast. I’m not an off road guy so my user experience is based on city riding and this ebike handles potholes, speed bumps, dips, grass, and hills with ease. To be fair and balanced my only cons are that the display is hard to see in daylight and the seat doesn’t have much padding. I already solved one issue and bought the Luna Gator seat replacement and it’s great. The Sting R was sold-out on April 17th but I added my email to the waiting list and 9 days later it arrived. Customer service was great and they replied to every email while I waited.

I just received this bike and let me tell you, it is amazing. The speed and acceleration of this thing is incredible. Also, I am 6 Ft, 180 lbs and its a great fit for my size. All of the upgrades are awesome as well and I can’t wait to see the future upgrades that will be available for the talaria. And from experience with changing my cars transmission fluid, changing the gear oil on this bike is super simple. So join the Talaria side and you wont regret it. We need more talarias on the road and show surron whats up

I’m about 50 miles in. I’ve done neighborhood roads, dirt paths and some trails. can’t say enough good things about this bike. assembly was easy. If you take any bolts out upgrading parts be careful not to strip them. from the factory the put tons of locktite on every damn bolt. i changed to a 52 tooth sprocket and its a good mix of torque upgrade without losing too much top speed. I did a lot of research into this vs surron x and made the right choice.

The instructions are straight up useless it pretty much just says “put this here” without showing the name of the part or the tools / screws you need it’s kinda pointless I just resorted to youtube videos but besides that i’d say best bike out there it’s very smooth and quick you can definitely feel those 8kw kick in as soon as you touch the throttle

the dad of surron just got mine cut the brown wire and goes 63 with me on it good power and twerk if your think of getting a surron dont this is a way better bike handels trails hills and sand pit hill climbs with ez. i recomend this bike over the surron any day ( charege battery while puting to gether and dont let it go under ten) supper fun bike nothing bad to say about it

I recently bought 2 Sting R MX4 bikes from this Talaria dealership. Shipping was fast, much faster than I expected. I’ve contacted support several times for small issues or questions and they have been very responsive. In less than a month I’ve done over 300 miles between the two bikes. I’ve been riding all my life and I’ve never had so much fun on 2 wheels. I get around 40 miles on a charge and for me that’s adequate (always in Sport mode, always going fast). I added some Warp 9 bars, direct mount stem and a few other goodies. I stand most of the time on the MX4 and having 3″ riser bars makes the bike a lot more comfortable and better on the rough stuff. Warp 9 makes really good foot pegs as well and I’ve replaced these on both my MX4s. Changing the gear oil is no sweat and all other maintenance is a breeze. I’ve rebuilt the entire front end on both bikes just to be sure everything was tight, head bearings were properly greased (they were), and so on. Talaria is really stepping up the game with this bike. I’m happy with the power and I expect I will be for some time. In a few years when bigger batteries are available that will be a nice upgrade. For now, I couldn’t be happier. The Talaria Sting R MX4 is an EXCELLENT machine and Talaria Shop has been great to deal with. 100% would buy again and I think that says it all.

Just 10 days into the Talaria MX4 and I’m happy with it. I dropped the forks about 2mm (making the top-clamp flush with top-of-forks) and that made it feel much more planted entering turns. Five stars for the team. Much appreciated!

Had it for about 2 months. It’s amazing. LOVE the torque/power.Great suspension. Great quality all-around What a rush slamming the throttle and feeling the pull as it bolts up a steep hill! Very confident over rocky terrain or pavement. I also own the Talaria XXX but this is the better ride! If you’re undeceided, I would highly recommend spending the extra money for the Sting R simply for the added power and the quieter motor. I’m 5’11 at 215lbs. Just needed to add better pegs and a probably a more comfortable (taller?) steering position. Go for it!

Best money I’ve spent to date! The fact that this bike costs less than what a nice mountain bike does defies logic. I’ve had it a for a few months so I’m able to judge what I do and do not like. Pros: powerful, long battery life, larger than Sur Ron, looks great. Cons: battery rattle, terrible breaks (can be fixed just by replacing pads), and suspension is mediocre. I have upgraded the controller, put 18/21 moto wheels and tires, riser bars, wider pegs, and a 52t sprocket. Very happy with it after making those modifications. Beware: if you put a larger 21” tire on the front, the fender will rub! I would not recommend doing the 18/21 set up and instead keeping the stock rims and putting larger tires on. The added weight does restrict the power even with an aftermarket controller. All things considered, I’d still buy another in a heartbeat. It’s so nice being able to ride in almost anywhere because it’s quiet.

Just unpacked my bike and absolutely love it only complaint is when it was being pack to ship i guess someone was in a hurry or something cause when i opened it the bars were against the forks and didn’t have anything around it to keep it from rubbing so it made a pretty large impression on the bars and forks so i guess the packaging process could have been better but it’s a great bike
